How to Book a Trip
The first step is for you to tell us about your needs and interests. 

• When do you want to travel? January through March are the peak months and the peak of the dry season but Costa Rica's charms are open all year round, they're just wetter in some months than others.
• What are your interests? Costa Rica is famous for bird watching, fishing, white water rafting, hiking. etc. 
• What kind of accommodations do you want during your stay? There are great hotels at all levels, ranging from deluxe to rustic. 
• How do you want to get around? Transportation is an important factor to take into account on your trip. Many clients take advantage of our excellent bilingual naturalist guides that have their own transportation so you can sit, relax and enjoy the scenery. If you are more adventurous and prefer to do your own driving we can make car rental reservations for you too. If longer distances need to be covered, domestic flights are also available and recommended to certain areas that are too far to drive to.

With this information in hand we will put together a custom-designed vacation for you and your family or friends. Once we have your approval on the cost and the itinerary we will make all the reservations in Costa Rica. Once we confirm availability we ask for a $300 deposit. (see Reservations).

We will also help prepare you for all the details of your trip. We'll make sure you know about money exchange (what and where), the climate, suitable clothing, entry requirements, transportation, food, customs, restaurant recommendations, maps, etc. Our goal is to eliminate the worries from your trip so that you can relax and enjoy the many pleasant surprises that Costa Rica offers.
