Once we have confirmed trip availability, we ask for a $300 deposit per person. You send a check and also fill out a reservation form

Responsibility: We, as the principal, are responsible to you for arranging and providing all the services and accommodations offered in connection with the airline in use.  However, in the absence of negligence on our part, we are not responsible for personal injury or property damage caused by the air carrier, hotel or other supplier of any of the services being offered in connection with the carrier. We are not responsible for any delays of any flight due to reasons beyond our control, including labor strikes or work stoppages.

Airline Reservation: We will work hard to find the best airfares to Costa Rica available in the market by using wholesale companies.

Hotel Accommodations: Hotel accommodations will be based on double occupancy and each room will have a private bath/shower . There is also single supplement available at extra cost.

Baggage: Transportation and handling of two pieces of standard baggage per person is allowed on international flights. Excess baggage charges may be collected at the airport by the airline authority according to their regulations.

Deposits and Payments for the land portion: A deposit of $300 per person is required with reservation space form to guarantee your space. From this deposit a sum of $150 is not refundable.

Cancellation & Refund for land portion: All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received up to 90 days prior to departure will be refunded all funds, less an administrative cost of $150 per person. Cancellations between 90 and 31 days prior to departure are assessed $300 per person.  Thereafter, all refunds are limited to amounts recoverable from the hotels and land operators. No refunds will be given for unused accommodations, meals, or services for any reason whatsoever, unless arranged in ample time prior to departure, as all land arrangements are quoted as a package.  No refund is made on unused land tour.

Insurance: Personal trip cancellation, travel accident and baggage insurance is highly recommended. Call us and we will be happy to recommend a travel insurance company.

Consumer disclosure notice: Costa Rican Specialties and Viajes Colibri S.A., any IATA and connecting ARC carrier act only in the capacity of agents in all matters of transportation and tour operation, and their liability is limited to the terms of the tour package. All rates based on tariffs, costs and applicable airfare in effect at the time of traveling are subject to confirmation.  The right is reserved to withdraw any tour if circumstances demand it. The right is also reserved to decline or refuse any person as a member of any tour if such person's health, mental well-being, or general character hinders the operation of the tour.  All arrangements for the above services are made by the tour operator and/or its agents. The airline concerned is not responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. Baggage is at owner's risk at all times. Costa Rican Specialties and Viajes Colibri S.A. are not liable for the defaults of other firms or agencies. Payment of deposit and final balance on the cost of the travel arrangements described in the brochures, and web site or any other material of any sort mentioning this brochure or its contents signifies the acceptance on the part of the purchaser and/or passenger of the limitations of Costa Rican Specialties' responsibility.

Tour price does not include: Passport or visa fees, all items of personal nature including phone and laundry, wine or liquor, tips and charges to room service, items not on regular menu, meals not included in itinerary, excess baggage and insurance.
